REFLECTIONS

The new feature of ResWave related to NORTHWIND Maestro PMS is an interesting development that goes into the direction of a differentiated yield management: in particular, the party size mix and maximization of covers and revenue relate to the f&b revenue management, which is the next frontier of this particular subject. The main levers of f&b revenue management are actually pricing, meal duration and party size mix optimization, as stated by the Cornell University in several of their reports. The good point of the ResWave enhancement also related to the improvement of the guest experience in terms of personalization, by providing all information related to other services that guests associate to the room during their experience in the hotel. The 360-degree view of guest preferences is also very interesting whether we consider the marketing campaigns that can be deleoped and targeted to the real needs of the guests.
